If there’s any symbol for summer road trips, it’s the Volkswagon Type 2. Also known as the VW Bus, Camper, Kombi or Pick-up, the classic VW Type 2 is a panel van initially deriving from Volkswagon’s first model, the Type 1 (Beetle).

When I was quite young, I remember my dad teaching me how to make these little paper boats. I’m sure they were made most often during times when I was restless and had to be quiet. :)
Random note: I love this colour. The barrel of the pen implied green ink, but I was quite delighted to discover it’s a more teal blue turquoise colour.

Poster Project - Mugello, Italy
I did this as a quick, sketchy piece while I was watching the Moto GP qualifying practice this morning! Such a brilliant sport to watch! I loved the battle for pole between Dani and Jorge - every other lap they were setting new records! And then there’s Barberá - wherever he pulled those lap times from, I have no idea. Very impressive.
What do you guys think of Valentino’s new helmet? I have to say, it wouldn’t be my favourite. I’m loving Jorge’s Black Mamba though. I think it suits him. :)
In the Sparrow’s Nest
I love working in pen. Ballpoint. Felt tip. Anything. They take a lot of time, but watching them come together is pretty sweet. This one did take ages, but every strand of hair that I finished brought me that little bit closer. Besides, once you get a rhythm going, you’re sorted. ;)
